Delayed Amazing Spider-Man 2 Releases on Xbox One

In a weird turn of events, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 released on time digitally to the Xbox One.

Although The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One was reportedly delayed — and even thought to be canceled at one point — the Beenox-developed game released on time with other versions today on Xbox Live. In addition, Major Nelson released that the action game was available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on his blog.

However, physical copies of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Xbox One still seem to be delayed. Amazon and GameStop list the game as having a July 1 release date, and a GameStop staff told IGN that "that game has been delayed to July 1."

Previously this month, Activision told IGN that it was working with Microsof company on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 situation for Xbox One. Stay tuned to IGN for its review of the web-crawler's latest video game adventure.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer officially released, out November 4 – watch it

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has received its first official trailer out of publisher Activision. It verified the shooter's future setting, hover bikes and all.

I have also written a bullshit blog full of stills and findings from the clip above. Come have some fun here.

The shooter was expected to be fully launched on May 4, but we have posted an early selection of screens and details here.

It's set in the future, where personal military contractors go to the highest bidder to wage corporate – and totally not Metal Gear Solid 4-like – wars. Kevin Spacey looks to be the villain of the piece, as you can see by his shiny, mo-capped, new-gen face.

There's hover bikes, stealth cloaks, sticky gloves that create a man climb like that Spider-Bloke, exo suits that allow for superhuman jumping and strength, and not a single trace of rappelling.

Could This iPhone 6 Be The Most Accurate Mock-up Yet?

Well-known Dutch designer and concept artist Martin Hajek has designed a new iPhone 6 rendering, which might just be the most accurate one to date.

Hajek had recently joined up with Nowherelse to create a amazing mock-up based on the recently leaked schematics discovered by Macotakara apparently showing the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants of the iPhone 6.

With the recent case leak, Hajek revised his designs to show almost everything we currently know (or think we know) about Apple's next iPhone.

Hajek depicts the iPhone 6 as extremely thin, featuring curved corners, a larger display, and a new Sleep/Wake button, which has been moved to the right side from the handset.

This was based on a research note from KGI Investments analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who suggested that Apple is going to move the button from its current spot on top of the iPhone to help with one-handed use of the larger smartphone.

What do you think of Hajek’s designs? Is this what you hope the iPhone 6 you can look like?

The Sony Xperia Z2 Will Launch In The U.S. This Summer

The Xperia Z2 will be launched in the U.S. but not for several months. The launch is planned for "summer." A U.S. launch of the Xperia Compact Z1 is currently not on the books at all, we also learned.

The Z2 will be sold unlocked through Sony's online store. Companies have not been announced, and from what Sony told us, it seems talks are ongoing with carriers and nothing has been finalized yet.

Sony exposed both the Z2 smartphone and Z2 Tablet at Mobile World Congress a few months back. We recently spent some time with the pair and they are impressive kits. Both the phone and tablet are water-proof and while incredibly thin, feel more like the swanky HTC One M8 than the plasticy Samsung Galaxy S5. The Z2 tablet is now available in the U.S.

Yet as Sony indicated in late 2013, the company is not focusing on the US market. Historically, the company has not had much success in the U.S. The Z2 smartphone was released in select Asian markets in March and April. It’s hitting other markets including Canada in May. The U.S. is apparently at the bottom of the list.

And that’s a damn shame. The Z2 is a fantastic Android device.

Mass Effect Trilogy listed for PS4 & Xbox One launch

Mass Effect Trilogy has been listed for a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch by Chilean retailer Zmart, following quotations from BioWare suggesting that a new-gen package was on the cards.

We reported on the quotes earlier this year, which came from Aaryn Flynn, GM for BioWare’s Edmonton & Montreal studios. On Twitter he said, "We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share."

Now, the Zmart listings come with PS4 and Xbox One pack art, with no launch date connected. Hit the links for each product page.

In accordance to the site, Mass Effect Trilogy has been rated M for mature on both types.
