Nowadays, there is more going on at the junction of style and technical than there ever has been. Of delayed, some of these synergies include Search engines Cup. At the InfoDonner Affect SF 2013 hackathon these times, Glashion created it’s first appearance, offering a way for Search engines Cup customers and customers to buy style items they identify on the go.
Here’s how it performs. Via the app (which can be downloadable to Cup now), Glashion allows you to click a picture of a style product you see on a bypasser or in a shop, and then the app issues the ShopStyle API for identical suits. You basically tell Cup, when you see a product, "Ok glass, I want this!" and you will be printed.
The app will explain to you identical items (or the same one if it can discover it), and you either tap to buy or run to see more items. If you tap, Glashion will deliver you an e-mail with the weblink to the product on the retail store website for buy. You can also use the app to discover a shop close by your position that has the product or identical items.
The app is the creation of AngelHack NYC manager and start-up creator Billy Mauro and Spanish business owner Felipe Servin. Mauro operates another style start-up Instashop (side note-the start-up may be modifying its name to Shopsy soon, I am told), which is a industry for items found on Instagram. Servin is the creator of Calzaclick, an e-commerce industry for footwear.
Maura describes that the wider objective with Glashion is to use Search engines Cup to demonstrate how it can weblink off-line and internet purchasing actions. As a shopaholic myself, I often discover myself taking images of items when I am on the go. Of course getting a picture of someone stranger’s bag on the road via my cellphone can seem invasive. But using a wearable system like Cup could prevent that clumsiness. It’s just one more purpose for me to buy Search engines Cup in the name of style.
